Accreditation of Undergraduate Degrees in Psychology

Introduction

Completion of an accredited degree confers eligibility for graduate membership. Following submissions made to the Psychological Society of Ireland, the degree courses listed below have been accredited. The date when the current period of accreditation expires for each course is also indicated below.

A revised version of this list will be issued from time to time.   At any time, other courses are under consideration by the Undergraduate Accreditation Committee on behalf of the Council of the Psychological Society of Ireland.  All final decisions are made by Council.

The Psychological Society of Ireland and the British Psychological Society signed a memorandum of agreement in October 2006, whereby the two Societies agreed to recognise each other’s undergraduate accreditation procedures.
